Fishy fun

We have days that we do no work at all. But in those days we play games and do arts and crafts. Well today was one of those days.

Looking through my Pinterest board for Kids Art ideas, I came across this Koi Painting.The original project is actually located at Art Projects for Kids. This is our go at it.

Matthew is not really fond of painting, he would rather draw, but he also gave it a go.

The kids painted these in watercolours.

 I painted mine in an art journal. The journal got little bits of pictures, quotes and thoughts. I will be purchasing art journal books for the kids too. This will ensure everything stays in one place. The paper is also nice and thick and great for those watercolor paintings.

This is a painting I did in oils in 2012 as part of a art class I took.
